The Brilliance Revolution: The Best Website for Lab-grown Diamonds

The Brilliance Revolution: The Best Website for Lab-grown Diamonds

Diamonds are one of the most coveted and cherished gemstones in the world. They symbolize love, beauty, and elegance.

But did you know that not all diamonds are created the same? Some diamonds are mined from the earth, and with new technologies, some are grown in a lab.

We're exploring the science, beauty, and ethics of lab-grown diamonds and will show you that we are the best website for lab-grown diamond jewelry.

Ready to get your ethical sparkle on?

What are Lab-grown Diamonds?

Lab-grown diamonds are diamonds that are created in a laboratory using advanced technology.

They are not synthetic or fake; they are real diamonds with the same chemical composition, crystal structure, and physical properties as natural diamonds.

Lab-grown diamonds are crafted from carbon using intense pressure and temperature, closely replicating nature's million-year process in a fraction of the time.

This is also known as diamond genesis, the origin of diamonds.

Although lab-grown diamonds have been around since the 1950s, they've recently become more popular and accessible due to technological advancements and consumer demand.

Why Choose Lab-grown Diamonds?

The debate about mined vs. lab-grown diamonds has been around for some time.

Let's consider why these lab-grown variants are viewed as the better choice over a newly mined diamond,  if ethics and labor conditions are important to you.

Ethical Sourcing

Lab-grown diamonds are ethically sourced and conflict-free because they are created in a laboratory where all the conditions can be closely monitored.

They do not involve human or environmental exploitation, such as child labor, violence, or pollution which is prevalent in diamond mining operations.

Lab-grown diamonds are certified by independent organizations that ensure their origin and quality. They come with certificates that prove their origin, and many are grown right here in the USA.

Sustainable Luxury

Lab-grown diamonds are known as eco-friendly diamonds. The environmental impact they have is vastly smaller than mined diamonds.

They use less water, energy, and land resources and produce no harmful emissions or waste. No earth is displaced in the search for these gemstones.

Lab-grown diamonds are a sustainable way to enjoy luxury without compromising your values.

Affordable Pricing

Lab diamonds are more affordable than mined diamonds because they have lower production costs and fewer middlemen.

You can get more value for your money and invest in higher quality or larger lab-grown diamonds.

However, the resale value of lab-grown diamonds is not known as they are a newer to-market choice for engagement. When investing in a center stone for your ring, resale might not be on your remind, however, it is an important aspect of the conversation when choosing lab-grown diamonds.

Unprecedented Customization

Lab-grown diamonds are not limited to traditional diamond compositions alone.

Researchers are constantly exploring new materials and methods to create diamonds with unique characteristics.

This level of customization allows consumers to select diamonds tailored to their specific preferences in color, size, and clarity,  opening a world of possibilities for creative jewelry designs.

    Cleaning Your YITM Jewelry

    Gold, Diamonds & Sapphires
These materials are the most durable and easiest to clean. Use warm water, a small amount of mild dish soap, and a soft toothbrush to gently remove buildup. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, and abrasive materials. Jewelry with exclusively gold and diamonds or sapphires can go in ultrasonic cleaners. The gold parts of the jewelry can be shined with the polishing cloth included in all YITM orders.

    Inlay Jewelry
Inlay pieces require special care. Do not soak or submerge in water. Do not put in an ultrasonic machine. Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth only. Moisture and chemicals can occasionally change the color composition of soft turquoise and variscite stones. Remove when applying lotion, oil, cleaning or swimming. The gold parts of the jewelry can be cleaned with the polishing cloth included in all YITM orders.

Sunstones, Tourmaline, Topaz, Garnet, Amethyst or Peridot
These stones are more delicate. We do not use them in rings for this reason. If these stones are in your other YITM styles, do not use ultrasonic cleaners, steam, or harsh cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth if needed, then dry immediately. The gold parts of the jewelry can be cleaned with the polishing cloth included in all YITM orders.

    Storage & Long-Term Care

Store each piece separately to prevent scratching, ideally in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box. Keep jewelry away from humidity, extreme temperatures, and direct sunlight. Periodic professional inspections are recommended for rings worn regularly.

For everyday, forever wear, we recommend a simple pure gold band. Our inlay and accent jewelry is best worn as the occasion permits. Please visit our FAQ page for more detailed care guidance.
