details

A steel blue colored Montana sapphire from the Missouri River deposit. This color is completely perfect from the day it came out of the earth and required no heat treatment which is rare for Montana sapphires. The lozenge is a well known, Art Deco inspired step-cut style of stone. At 2.75 cts, this stone is large enough to be really impactful and would be a special choice to represent your love forever. Choose a bezel setting or a prong setting depending on your lifestyle. The steel blue tones of this stone would lend itself to a white gold setting more then most sapphires!

Materials

2.75 ct. unheated Natural Sapphire from the Missouri River Mine in Montana. Stone measures 11.07x8.80x5.39mm

Timeline

A custom sapphire ring will take about 6 weeks from start to finish depending on the details. Need it sooner, lets chat.

Name Inspiration

Foschia is how to say mist in the Italian language.

Stacking Ideas

A Lozenge shape can fit many of our wedding bands but not the inlay crowns due to its unique shape. For complimentary wedding bands, we would recommend the Zenith, River of Light, or the Alma band.

Responsible Sourcing

We believe that jewelry representing this wild gift of love should never involve tainted materials mined by children or from war torn nations. We are not distracted by beautiful shiny things that have dark and disastrous pasts. We are proud that all of our inlay materials are sourced in raw, natural forms from the American West directly from miners who love what they do.
